Thank you for this! I was in Paris this week but missed the show (inexplicably, unforgivably).
If the video is one bit representative of the spread of works (the artists' names at the end suggest so), my only criticism is the relative lack of 'controversial' artists. What about Mapplethorpe, Warhol, Larry Clark? What about those who aren't part of the Western canon, like Polish Krzysztof Jung? (http://tomekscultureshards.blogspot.com/2012/10/camp-flickr.html)
Or a woman's perspective, such as Sylvia Sleigh? (ex. http://tomekscultureshards.blogspot.co.uk/2013/04/sylvias-regard.html)
It feels like the male nude is portrayed mostly as an objet d'art, with desire and sexual potential politely sublimated...

It appears the catalog is sold out, both at Amazon and at M D'O. I see the show runs into 2014--hope they reprint it.

I love this museum. Thanks for sharing your thoughts and the visuals. Wonderful as always.

You actually make it seem really easy together with your presentation howevfer I in finding this matter to bbe actually one thing that I believe I might never understand. It sort of feels too complicated and extremely wife for me. I am taking a look ahead inn your subsequent submit, I will attempt to get the hang of it!
