Laurent

I can't quibble with the facts selected in this biographical sketch of Bogarde but I can and truly must object to the tone of disapproval on Good Friday. His "Postillion Struck By Lightning," an installment of an autobiography you seem to dislike as much for its thoroughness as for its refusal to adopt a compulsory taxonomic label, is as radiant an expression of a gay male's imagination in formative childhood as one can listen to, in the author's own reading, in recordings of great charm produced for Penguin Audio. I wholeheartedly recommend a mature reconsideration of your judgment upon this man.
