Born December 29: Sandy Leonard

 

In honor of the great internationalist Sandy Leonard, a reminder to get Nobel laureate Orhan Pamuk's newly translated second novel Silent House and his nonfiction wonder The Innocence of Objects, which Pamuk signed for Sandy in November when I snapped this photo. (By magic, Sandy got a tour of the museum in Istanbul months before it opened.)
