In the line of gay couples who work together, look alike, and dress identically, there are the artists Gilbert & George, the fashion forward Viktor & Rolf, the detectives Thomson and Thompson, the porn stars The Peters Twins, and the app-happy digital designers Nate and Kirk Mueller. Except they're actual twin brothers. Now that it's off limits to ask politicians about their past statements, reporters resort to asking real people absolutely anything, including if these twee twinks are tupping each other. Ever the imps, they answer this frequent question by simultaneously saying, "Not really," and "I don't know." Genius! Apparently their work is just as clever. They got their masters from RISD eighteen months ago, moved to a brownstone in Prospect Heights, and have designed sites, apps, or e-books for The New Yorker, Newsweek, Vanity Fair, and Bon Appetit. They did one project for Martha Stewart and it won Tablet App of the Year from the Society of Publication Designers and Time called it cover of the year. Their art has been shown in Ohio, Rhode Island, Virginia, and New York. They're 27. (Photo by Glenn Glasser, with The New Yorker's creative director Wyatt Mitchell.)
Oh, yes. I love this.
Oh, no. I feel a new obsession comin' on.
