As a native son of the Sunshine State born into the Dust Bowl during the Great Depression where the Chinese ring-necked pheasant is the State bird, the adaptable coyote the State animal, and "Great Faces, Great Places" the State slogan, I think you have captured well the culture and traditions on the Great Plains.
