After a day touring the Delta (including the B.B. King Museum in Indianola) we ended up at the world famous Ground Zero Blues Club in Clarksdale, Mississippi. The first people we met were a couple from Paris; inside, visitors from Venezuela, Austria, and Germany mixed with a Southerners of every stripe. The club is co-owned by Morgan Freeman and Bill Luckett, the must-win gubernatorial candidate, and it has revitalized the town and region. Every inch of the club's interior is inked with graffiti, at least one of which celebrates a gay couple.
