Take a look at the NYT slideshow
of Douglas Coupland & David Weir's second home, an open mid-Century
house that sits directly behind their primarily dwelling. Their use of
color is a little bit wondrous, as in the wall of dice, one of many
homages to Damien Hirst's pill paintings.
Coupland's first novel was, of course, Generation X. His twelfth, coming in November, is titled Generation A
. He has also published five nonfiction books, as well as plays and screenplays.
